Exciting News! The PA Sunshine Solar Rebate Program is Back!

It’s back, and it’s causing a great deal of excitement among green energy proponents in the central Pennsylvania

Last year, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) announced the end of the Program, creating disappointment in home and small business owners from Carlisle to Harrisburg, and Camp Hill to Hershey, who hadn’t taken advantage of the opportunities to install solar units. Now, with the recent announcement that the PA Sunshine Solar Rebate Program is back for a limited time, they have the chance to enjoy the advantage of clean energy and receive considerable rebates on solar electric (solar photovoltaic) projects, solar hot water (solar thermal) projects and battery back-up systems.

To celebrate the return of the PA Sunshine Solar Rebate Program, SECCO Home Services is encouraging those interested in solar to look into the company’s special solar leasing options as a way of making the most of the $7.25 million in available funds.

Specifics of the PA Sunshine Solar Rebate Program include:

· Rebates up to $7,500 for a residential system (max. 10 KW)

· Rebates up to $52,500 for a small commercial system (max. 100 KW)

· Solar thermal rebates up to 35 percent of the total project (max. $5,000 for residential, $50,000 small commercial)

· Newly-revised one-step application procedure

The PA Sunshine Solar Rebate Program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and expires on December 31, 2013 or when the funds run out. However, all projects must be completed no later than June 1, 2013. Consequently, interested persons and companies are urged to contact SECCO immediately at 717-470-8201.
