Solar Power, and Solar Panel Installation
Video: PA Solar Rebates are Back for a Limited Time!
Local Solar Installation, from a Local Business
We installed our first solar hot water system in the 80′s. The system used refrigerant as the heat transfer “fluid” and worked without pumps to circulate the refrigerant, heating water. We used the heated water for our domestic use – washing hands, dishes and occasional showers. When our hot water needs were met, the heat flowed through a heat exchanger mounted in our ductwork, providing heat for our offices.
In keeping with our “practice here, not on our Customers” philosophy, we installed an elaborate solar hot water system at Craig’s home. His domestic hot water, a duct coil and the radiant floor heat in his sunroom all benefit from the FREE solar hot water. His original “off-peak hot water storage system” that supplements his Water Furnace Geothermal Heat Pump System rarely is needed, as most of the hot water he needs is produced by the sun!
Soon after completing all the necessary certifications for the brands we carry and after “testing” the product on Craig’s home, we were excited to offer guaranteed installations to other Customers.
At Barry’s home, we’ve installed three Solar PV Electric Systems; one 16 panel Sanyo Solar PV System on the garage roof, one 17 panel Sunpower Solar PV System on the barn roof and a 12 panel Sanyo Solar PV System on a solar tracker in the yard.
We have plans to complete a solar hot water system that will provide hot water to a radiant floor heating system to a Log Cabin project Barry is working on.
So, If you’re thinking about a solar hot water system, or solar photovoltaic (PV) system, we’d be happy to help you be a most informed Buyer and Owner of a system. Frankly, solar isn’t right for everyone. It may not fit your living style, your budget or your home.
Our Sunpower Solar Dealership ensures that we offer the highest efficiency panels and products – and of course, back everything we sell & install with our SECCO Home Services Guarantees. We even offer several solar leasing programs to fit many budgets.
Lastly, we have found that many solar systems – both Solar Hot Water and Solar Electric Systems require periodic maintenance checks. After the first year your solar system is installed, it’s prudent to have the heat exchange fluid checked, all electrical connections checked and a system diagnostic performed. We have the tools, equipment and professionally trained staff to help you – please call for more information.
Thank you for the opportunity to show you our Solar Hot Water & Solar Electric Systems – we know you’ll enjoy the information we provide.
